Environmental interventions

Mankind’s over-use of resources has led to what is now regarded as the “seventh extinction”. With widely accepted predictions of species extinction currently standing at about 50% of global species over the next 100 years, the time for complacency is over. This global environmental crisis is something that impacts on us all as the effects of climate change intensify and non-renewable resources continue to run out.  We at Green Earth Consulting believe that humanity still has the choice to either adapt our habits now on our own terms, or have the terms of adaptation dictated to us by environmental collapse.

What this means in practical terms is that our activities as a species, whether this be in our homes or in our work, need to be guided by the concept of long-term sustainability. We believe that social, environmental and financial sustainability are mutually dependant components of the solution to our environmental crises. This is our guiding principle.
